"Nala was born from the shared experiences of our founders working in multinational companies, where HR teams were bogged down by manual tasks, inefficient processes, and little strategic impact on the business. Existing solutions were difficult to implement, expensive, and unfriendly for users. Managers avoided them, reports were still created manually, and while these systems served as data repositories, they provided no real insights or analytics for effective talent management decision-making." "We experienced the pain firsthand—tedious manual tasks before important strategic sessions with leadership, painful calibration and performance reviews, and the constant struggle to execute succession planning effectively at scale. We saw companies spending excessive time and money on systems designed for governance or administrative HR functions, but these tools offered no impact on performance or talent management
